Chocolate and Strawberries, they just make sense together! A romantic pair just in time for Valentine’s Day. This is seriously one of the easiest candies you’ll ever make!
Ingredients:
1 16oz. bag milk chocolate chips
1 cup Thrive freeze-dried Strawberries
Parchment paper
Directions:
Pour chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl and melt in 30 second increments, stirring each time. Do not overheat.
Once melted, pour chocolate on parchment paper and spread to about 1/4 inch thin.
Scatter Thrive Strawberries on top.
(I was at the end of my can so I added the strawberry powder to my melted chocolate before spreading for even more strawberry flavor!)
Place in fridge or freezer until set.
Cut or break into pieces once set.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
The freeze dried fruit makes this so easy. Typically, with fresh fruit, the water in the fruit will cause the chocolate to seize and not work correctly. I did this with Thrive Mangoes and it was amazing. I’m not personally a coconut fan, but I’d be willing to bet that this recipe using Thrive Coconut Bites would be pretty incredible for a coconut lover.
